Advanced Placement (AP) at WAAPC American School

What is Advanced Placement (AP) ?


WAAPC American School is an official school for the Advanced Placement (AP) program, offering students the opportunity to take college-level assessments while still in high school. Recognized by universities in the United States and worldwide, AP exams allow students to earn college credit, advanced placement, or both, depending on their scores and university policies. Taking AP exams demonstrates a student’s ability to handle rigorous academic coursework, strengthening their college applications. Although AP exams are typically taken by high school students, there is no age limit—any well-prepared learner may sit for the exam.

AP Program for WAAPC Students

WAAPC American School provides AP tutorials in select subjects to help students prepare for their exams. Enrolled students can register for both AP tutorials and exams through the school’s AP Coordinator.

  • Sciences: Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Physics 1, Physics 2, Physics C (Mechanics, Electricity & Magnetism)

​

  • Mathematics: Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Statistics

​

  • Social Sciences: Psychology, Human Geography, U.S. History, World History: Modern, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Comparative Government & Politics, U.S. Government & Politics

​

  • Languages: English Language and Composition, English Literature and Composition, French Language and Culture, Spanish Language and Culture, Chinese Language and Culture

​

  • Arts & Humanities: Art History, Music Theory, Seminar

​

  • Technology & Computer Science: Computer Science A, Computer Science Principles

Programme AP pour étudiants externes

L'école américaine WAAPC propose aux candidats externes des services d'inscription aux examens AP et de tutorat par l'intermédiaire de ses prestataires de confiance. Les étudiants externes souhaitant passer les examens AP ou bénéficier d'une formation AP spécialisée peuvent le faire dans le cadre du programme AP externe de WAAPC.

Inscription aux formations et examens AP externes

Les candidats externes peuvent :

✅ Inscrivez-vous aux examens AP à WAAPC
✅ Recevez une formation de tutorat AP via les prestataires de services de WAAPC
✅ Accédez à une variété de sujets AP pour la préparation aux examens

Comment s'inscrire en tant que candidat externe

  1. Contactez le coordinateur AP du WAAPC pour vous renseigner sur les sujets et les prestataires de services disponibles.

  2. Choisissez un fournisseur de tutoriel (si nécessaire) dans la liste approuvée par WAAPC.

  3. Remplissez le formulaire d'inscription à l'examen AP (disponible sur demande par e-mail).

  4. Soumettre le formulaire d'inscription avec les documents requis.

  5. Effectuez le paiement par virement bancaire, chèque ou traite bancaire.

  6. Recevez votre code d'inscription au College Board auprès du bureau des examens de la WAAPC.

  7. Préparez-vous et passez votre examen au centre de test de WAAPC.
